Quick Description of the events:

Sealed Deck – Each player will receive 6 packs of Avacyn Restored to construct a 40-card minimum deck (basic land provided). Players will be paired in Swiss Rounds, best 2 out of 3 games in 50 minute timed rounds. All participants will receive a prerelease foil card for playing in the event (while supplies last). This card is NOT part of your event pool, and cannot be used in the tournament.

2 Headed Giant Sealed Deck – Each TEAM will receive 8 packs of Avacyn Restored to construct TWO 40-card minimum decks (basic land provided). Teams will be paired in Swiss Rounds, single game 50 minute timed rounds. Each team will receive 2 prerelease foil cards for playing in the event (while supplies last). These cards are NOT part of your event pool, and cannot be used in the tournament.

For all events: Prize support for prereleases is 2 packs of Avacyn Restored per player, as well as playmats, deck boxes, and additional promo cards. Players MUST be present at the end of tournaments to receive prizes.

Wizards of the Coast has not announced the prerelease card for this event so stay tuned!

DOOR PRIZE – A BOOSTER BOX UPON RELEASE!

At each event, each individual player will be eligible for an IOU for a booster box of Avacyn Restored. Each event will have a separate draw for a booster box, which will be awarded on May 4th. Winners do not need to be present to win.

• There are three (3) age groups: 10 & under, 11-15 and 16 & up.
• There is a $1 entry fee.
• Only one entry per person.
• Mediums allowed are pen, pencil or ink.  Any combination of the three is ok, black and white or color ok.
• Finished drawing must be no smaller than 8 ½ x11 and no larger than 12×18
• Must be Sci-Fi, Fantasy or Superhero themed.
• NO NUDITY.  Please keep it clean – this is a family approved activity!
• All pieces entered must be matted or backed with poster board.  NO GLASS FRAMES ALLOWED.
• All entries must be received in store by March 17, 2012.

Reasons why your entry would be disqualified or not accepted:

• The rules above were not adhered to or the entry was not received in time.

We will have a weekend when all the drawings are displayed in our store for everyone to come and see.  During that time, a winner will be announced.  The prizes will be as follows:

• 1^st place in each age group will receive 2 tickets to the upcoming Gem City Comic Con in April and a $20 gift card to Bell, Book & Comic
• 2^nd place in each age group will receive 2 tickets to Gem City Comic Con.

All artwork will be displayed on our website and at Gem City Comic Con (space allowing).  Also, all entries will be returned to the owner after the Comic Con in April.

Play for a 3 round bye for Grand Prix: Indianapolis (March 10-11th)! Practice with (and against) some of the best decks around! Or grind up you Planeswalker Points for a shot at the Pro Tour! Plenty of reasons to play!

This event is a Premier Level event and will have rules enforcement of COMPETITIVE. Deck lists and *OPAQUE* sleeves must be used for this event.

Prizes for this event will be 3 packs per player entered in the tournament. This tournament requires a minimum of 8 players to run.

** Please note: GP Indy is a Legacy Event. However, under current GPT Policy Legacy is currently unavailable as a format.

February 4th 2012  -  1 PM  -  Booster Draft -  $15

So, they took away booster drafts for Prereleases (BOOOO!!). So let’s Draft all day for the release party! (YEAHH!!)

THE MAIN EVENT – I’ll take as many players as we get and divide players into pods. You’ll draft and play within your pods. After the main event, I’ll run 8-player drafts until we get bored or I run out of product!

Players in the main event will receive a special promo for participating (while supplies last). If I have extras, I’ll give them out to NEW players in the 8-man drafts!

At each event, each player (or team) will receive a raffle ticket. Each event will have a separate raffle for a booster box of Dark Ascension, which will be awarded on February 3rd. Winners do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets will be handed out upon registration.

Bell Book and Comic is now hosting Dungeons and Dragons: Lair Assault!

Time to put your D&D experience to the test! Your party versus the DM, no holds barred!

Each week, the assigned DM with battle against the players in a test of wills, determination, and creativity

Lair Assault starts at Noon, and should last about 3 hours. Be prepared to create characters as well.
