Questions & Answers
Q: You say pen, pencil or ink are allowed and black & white or color is ok but it doesn’t mention paint. Can you paint?
A: No paint, please. We didn’t want to chance smearing someone’s artwork that might not be completely dry.
Q: Is digital artwork allowed?
A: No. We are really looking for the old school do-it-by-hand kind of stuff.
Q: Should the piece be fan art or original concept, pin-up/ cover style or sequential art like comic pages?
A: Doesn’t matter as long as it fits into the subject matter of sci-fi, fantasy or superhero.
Q: Where should I take my art when it’s finished?
A: Bring it in to Bell, Book & Comic and give it to any employee there.
